Description:
We launched the new domains page earlier this year to put accurate attack surface reconnaissance data in front of users that is flexible to meet several use cases. In response to the news about the recent CUPS vulnerability, we were able to present users with a potential method to detect the threat by creating a policy on port 631, something that wasn’t possible with the previous All Assets page. Since launching the new Domains page, we’ve shipped dozens of improvements that have helped security teams gain more confidence in their control of their dynamic attack surface.
The new Domains page will replace the All Assets page which will be deprecated on 2024-10-25.
Overview of what you can do from the domains page:
Network graph. We launched a new domain details page with a visual network graph and an updated Surface state to help you assess how your domains are connected to other data points and understand the degree to which our scanners can access your domain.
Create custom policies. Configuring Attack Surface Policies from the new Domains page allows users to set security policies on a variety of characteristics, such as being alerted when a specific cloud provider is present on a set of domains.
Monitoring hosting providers. Monitoring hosting providers allows you to identify where your assets are hosted, ensure everything aligns with your expectations, and set up policies to monitor and alert for any issues that need to be addressed or investigated.
Filtering is more visible and simpler to use. The release of new, more visible filters simplifies the process of viewing and adding filters, facilitating easier data filtering and policy creation for monitoring desired elements. We’ve also released five new filter operators to columns with multiple values per domain, enabling more precise domain searches and policy building.
Sharing filtered views with teammates. A new feature allows users to share filtered views with colleagues by copying and sending the URL, enabling recipients to access the domains page with the same filters applied from their accounts, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing within teams.
