Detectify Launches Alfred: AI-Built Vulnerability Assessments

Today Detectify is launching Alfred, an AI-driven system for autonomous vulnerability assessment. Alfred sources, prioritizes, and generates high-fidelity security tests for likely exploitable CVEs. This system uses large language models to gather threat intelligence, prioritize vulnerabilities based on the EPSS framework, and generate payload-based exploits. These exploits are then added as security tests to the Detectify platform after our internal security research team reviews each test created by Alfred.
Alfred complements our existing Crowdsource community and internal security research, allowing us to deliver faster and broader access to testing for exploitable CVEs. This AI-built assessment capability is now rolling out to all Surface Monitoring and Application Scanning customers. Detectify is now the only AppSec tool combining its own community of ethical hackers with AI research.
